World record question??

Question

can u just make up a world record? how would we do that? would we have to call or contact or or sumthin, or have like video evidence with what the record was and such?? please help!! we really wanna break a record. like, how did rob and big figure out the records for powdered donuts in 3 minutes or bananas in a minute. and do any of u know any easy records. please help?
