  1. Beyond food and water storage you would want to consider what to do if there is no power or fuel available.  A generator or solar battery pack can provide limited amounts of electricity.  Propane and a propane stove could provide heat and help you cook.  I've heard of something as simple as an "apple box oven" which is made out of an apple box wrapped in tinfoil with charcoal underneath that can be used for baking.  You can only store a small amount of water, so you need to think of alternative sources of water and purification methods.

  2. First of all, what war are you fearful of?  And secondly, nuclear warfare would not be a component.  Please elaborate a bit more.

  3.    live under ground. not much left  outside. when all your food and water are gone then where will you be?

  4. If you're expecting an "apocalypse," try primitive tools, such as bows and arrows, cordage-making, flint-knapping, and similar skills. Make sure you include edible plants and other basic survival skills, as well as stealth techniques to avoid soldiers. Skinning and tanning hides is also useful.
