what happened in the Ottoman Empire that made Europe unstable...?????

Archduke of Austria-Hungary Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian. Austria-Hungary was in control of the Balkans (including Serbia), but these countries weren't happy about it. Austria-Hungary wanted an excuse to declare war on Serbia, etc, and this was it. The Ottoman Empire was on Austria's side, but England, France and Russia were on Serbia's side. Germany and Italy joined Austria-Hungary around the same time as France, England and Russia joined Serbia. There was heaps of other things that went on like the Morroccan Crises and all the Alliances. Google can help with them.
