World war when Russian papers say -NATO scared ?

Here is a Russian paper online in English -

Here we are told that NATO is scared of Russian Sea and Air power and that Russia is a match for NATO

And more good news

"These missiles are close to our borders and constitute a threat to us," Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said in an interview with Al-Jazeera TV channel on Tuesday. "This will create additional tension and we will have to respond to it in some way, naturally using military means.” http://www.presstv.ir/Detail.aspx?id=67758&sectionid=351020602

The accusations have become rhetoric and that rhetoric demands action which in turn demands a response -

Each response and demand getting more dangerous not less

  1. Russia has always been weak, there tanks are a joke, there Army is a joke and so is there Navy. They don't want to go head to head with the U.S.

  2. We need to negotiate and not interfere with Russia's sphere of influence. That way we'll have peace, We also need to tame the President of Georgia because he is the one who invaded Abkhazia and Southern Ossetia first.

  3. I think that the Russian leadership needs a good tour of their military facilities Army, Navy and their submarine fleet. They are no match for ANY of their NATO counterparts.

Part of the Russian doctrine during the cold war was to have great numbers of missiles or ships etc. - they have NEVER stressed having reliable systems.

If NATO is scared of anything it's that the Russian military will hurt itself !!  It's all propaganda designed to stir up the people in Russia, US politicians do it all the time look at all the garbage obama is talking over here, wait a while and McCain will start with his rhetoric.

In other words it's the Russian spin machine "sabre-rattling"

Sure they may be building up the military with oil revenues but it doesn't happen over night.

  4. No it's just more saber rattling Russian propaganda and empty rhetoric - which flows quite readily these days.

Quite simply, Russia attacked and killed innocent Georgians. Russia is just trying to blame these murders and their lawlessness on others! And they want to attack Poland and the Ukraine next.  Sadly US liberals have bought into this rhetoric - hook, line and sinker!

    Peace
