I am going there on Wednsday with my girlfriend. We had so many activities planned until she teared her ACL on her right knee. She is able to walk on crutches but wont be able to snorker or ... pretty much not be able to do much besides float in the pool and drink. Any ideas you guys have? how can I make this trip wonderful still? thanx.

  1. Hola.  Well it will be harder to get around on crutches that's for sure.  You'll want to hang probably close to the resort.

Just a bit of a warning...Mexican streets aren't really made for crutches and wheelchairs...the curbs can be over a foot high for flooding, and lots of uneven pavement and hazards.

The coral baja is pretty close to town (about 15 walk to San Jose del cabo) but not easy on crutches.  h**l, there's even a bit of an incline down the drive to the front door of the Coral.  She's probably going to want to hang around the pool area, because I would think unless you carry her across the sand to the beach, she will have a hard time navigating.  You will have to depend on shuttles and taxis to get around.  You could probably also snorkel in Chileno Bay, its a quiet calm cove....but the walk down the sandy path to get to the beach might be a problem.

    good luck!
