Did you see the new snake that was discovered in Barbados? It is a type of threadsnake and is as thin as a strand of spaghetti! It eats ant and termite larvae. Look how cool it is!

  1. Yes, I heard on Public Radio today about the newly discovered snake. The last part of its name is the wife of the discovering scientist-who also discovered a tiny snake previously, while photographing snake species also. Have you seen a picture of the Worm Snake? I saw pictures of it a few years back. It is an ugly grey color just like the clay it lives in.

By the way, my state, Missouri-is home to several small species of snakes that eat insects. One of them is the Ringneck Snake.

  2. Yes, this is one tiny snake.

So new, they just call it a tiny snake.

Makes you wonder what else is lurking out there.

  3. yeah i did  see it on BBC news website. its quite interesting imagine just one massive egg and the discovery also gives also kinda finalizes that there is a critical minimum size for animals

  4. The Brahminy Blind Snake is the smallest snake I know of. It's from SE Asia if I remember correctly. My father saw them in Vietnam during the war, and they have since migrated to the US in flower pots and such. They're also the only snake that lives in Hawaii. Check out the link below for lots of info on it.

On a side note, the link you posted is no longer valid. Might wanna find it again and repost it.
