what would the world's temperatures be like if the earth was liek a piece of plywood, and presented a flat surface to the sun?

If it had a flat surface there would be less of a difference between the equator and poles. But then these wouldnt exist. The earth would be around the same climate al over depending on size.

Also if it was flat i dontknow how the earths rotation and orbit around the sun would work so day and night cycles and the changing of the seasons would be very different if they existed at all.

The gravity of the earth would be greatly affected due to its shape probably giving very different atmospheres in different parts of the world, afeecting temps differently around the earth.

The flat surface would recieve the same amount of energy from the sun all overto a certain size but would begin to decreace after a certain distance.becauce of its increcing distance from the sun.
