Worried About Fitting In

Question

Ok.... im 20 years old and live in the South East of England. I am going to College in September having taken a couple of years out to work. But im a little worried, i am in my opinion very mature for my age. I dont like to drink, i dont like to go clubbing or partying, i dont smoke, nothing that you would think that your ''normal'' 20 year old College student would do. I prefer going to the movies, skiing, climbing, biking, things like this. I dont have many friends as it is due to most of my old school mates trying to change how i am and the things i do.

So overall i guess im just worrying about not fitting in at College and im kinda having second thoughts about going as i dont wanna be branded as the 'loser' etc. etc. Or........... are there likely to be girls and guys who also dont like partying, drinking, having s*x etc. etc..... im asking because ive not been to college so i dont know what to expect. But in high school i wasnt very popular because i didnt go to parties etc.

in college there is such a wide variety of people so you are bound to find people like yourself. don't be worried or scared, just do what you are comfortable doing and i can guarantee you will find some new friends! :)

well that is just who you are and you will find out who yo r friends are okay you seem very fun to be arounde with because well going to movies, skiing, climbing, biking, things like this. well would sounde fun and well maybe you will meet a girl and that is what you will only need or people who like to do the same things you do k so do not be college is not what most people say it is like on movies and c**p so Trust me k

im probably the wrong guy to answer this seeing im 5 years younger than you but i dont think you shouldnt go to college just because youre worried about fitting in.........i have a brother that went to college with the same problem and now hes graduated and has twice as many friends then when he wewnt
