Worried : I have brown discharge help !?

Hi , I have been on my period for a day now and 10 minutes ago i went to change my pad when i noticed there was brown discharge everywhere. I have read in a lot of magazines that brown discharge is bad but is this normal ?

its completely normal... not to mention nasty... but everyone gets it. towards the end of your period your blood cells from your period will die, creating that brown color... that's all it is.

Its probably still left from your period, i get this from time to time as well.  If it doesnt stop in a few days, I would maybe CALL the doc.

It's not bad.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your v****a. Old blood looks brown and can be part of your period.

It's normal. All it is is old blood. When you cut you finger and the blood dries, what color is it? That theory applies to your period as well.
