  1. There is absolutely nothing to worry about in middle school, i liked it a lot better than elementary. The days went by faster for me, cause we were not sitting in the same class all day. The first day you really only need something to wright with and something to right on. I usually bring a notebook that i can slip the papers in. Cause the teachers will be giving you papers on the first day, with all of the things they will want from you and about the class for the year. On my first day of school i remember the teachers giving me the stuff they want from me (the supplies) for that year, and they usually checked it like in a few days (to give you time to get it) But i usually change it. This is what i did.

I carried around 2 binders, 1 for half of the day, the other for the other half, and i would put the one i am not using in my locker. I would put dividers so i would not my up my subjects. And i would pt everything in order fro when i got it. And at the end of each quarter(or semester) i would empty it out,but keep the work at  home, and never through away your test cause a teacher can accidentally put the wrong grade in her book or computer. And then you will be stuck with a grade if you did not keep your test(that happened to me more than once, so now i keep my test, and there also good to look back on a final or regents).  You will need pen a pencil (basic things like that) I bet your teachers will tell you everything you need on the first day of school. Thats when they usually tell you, its not like elementary. Its normal to feel nervous. I felt nervous every year before i went into a new school. This year i am gonna feel nervous because i am going into 11th, and i am taking harder classes this year, but after the first day you would be fine. Usually the first day is boreing though. But good luck.

  2. (WHAT YOU SHUOLD EXPECT)

If its like my school you will have a different for evey subject. If that is the case. Know where your classes are and always be on time for class. If you have the same teacher for like 2 or 3 subjects then it is a brezze. But anyway there is nothing to worry about. Good Luck

  3. I am going to middle school after my next year....... I am pretty freaked out though... Cuz  i am short ans stuff... The thing i am prob only looking forward too is, FREE DRESS!!!!! like in elementary school u have to wear boring school clothes... ECH! i have to wear the same exact thing EVERYDAY.... now i go to middle school... I AM FREE!!! + i am going to Traweek Middle School. Just so theat if u don't know where that is... West Covina, CA. or is it covina....

  4. Teachers will usually send home lists on the first day about supplies and such. They'll usually say that they want you to have a spiral notebook and a binder, a red checking pen and a writing utensil.

Middle school is really exciting because you get so many more freedoms than elementary school. I remember I got so nervous that I would get lost, but I realized how TINY the school was, and that they usually group the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes together in separate halls.

You will be expected to use your locker. When you get there in the morning, there may be a place that you're supposed to go to, like 6th grade goes to the gym and waits until it's time to go to classes (like if you get there early). When you're going to your classes, you should stop by your locker, empty your backpack and grab a binder with paper, or maybe a spiral and your pencil bag. I really doubt they'll start with homework and such. I remember in 6th grade they went through EVERY rule for about 2 weeks, and I actually wanted to get some assignments.

You should introduce yourself to the classmates sitting around you, because you'll probably see them in other classes, whether it's in 6th grade or in the future. It's always beneficial to be perceived as a friendly person. Just say your name, ask them which elementary they came from, what their electives/courses are, or just compliment someone about their outfit or something.

Good luck! After your first couple days, you'll feel much more comfortable.

  5. Well, don't be so worried about it. When I first started middle school, things were kind of strange, but I got used to it. In your first year, it will be different than elementary school, but you'll get used to it. You'll just see how much many personalities of your friends have changed, harder work, more independence, etc.

  6. well i don't really know what supplies your school will make u get, every school is different make u sure u get the school supply list it should come in the mail or something, or you might also get it a registration. it's not as scary as you think, i'm going into 8th grade, right when u get there u will see all of your friends and then that fear will go right out the window, good luck and have fun=]!

  7. 3 things: look like gold. and your ok :)

  8. dont worry about it. yeah it will be a little different but youll be fine. and the school should have given you a supply list, but jus all the common stuff. binder paper pens pencils. youll be fine though. jus take each day as it comes

  9. Middle school is really not a big deal. The work isn't that much harder, and as long as you maintain your grades to Bs, people almost never look at your middle school report card.

Middle schools can be different depending on your area, but most likely you'll like the schedule. You'll get more variety and if you don't like a teacher, you don't have to spend all day with her. Lunch is shorter, and there's no recess, but there's more electives as well. Your school should send you a list of what supplies you need.

There's really nothing to worry about, you'll do fine. Middle school really isn't that scary once you start.

  10. Dont expect anything, go in feeling positive and dont worry about it

  11. Usually schools send out school supply lists at middle school age, so if you have one that would be best to follow, otherwise i would suggest:

Math: 2 inch binder (smaller is fine too, you should adjust this to your preferences), graph paper (preferably 4 squares per inch), notebook, protractor, ruler, loose leaf, folder, calculator, and a book cover (cloth or paper bag).

Science: Binder of your choosing, notebook, looseleaf, book cover if needed, folder

    Social Studies: same as science

English: Same as Science, it may be helpful to have dividers

Otherwise, any other classes you are taking, i would reccomend folder and notebooks, index cards if you have a foreign language

Other basic supplies you might need are: colored pencils, glue sticks, pencils(I prefer mechanical, but its up to you), scissors, and blue black and red pens.  During the school year, you may have to fine tune what you use to your liking.  These are what I used back in middle school, and i found them to be very organized and easy to use.  You may not need everything I mentioned, but a good idea that i use is if one of these items is on sale for a very good price (i.e. notebooks for 10 cents, folders for 5 cents) I usually just stock up and buy 20 or 30 so i don't need to buy again during the school year or even next year.  As for what to expect, its a lot of fun, don't sweat it.  Everyone else in your grade is going to be starting just like you, so they don't have any more experience than you.  The older kids are always nice.  Have fun!

  12. middle shcoll is nothing i`m going to high school its not that scary juat remember no recess

  13. i remember feeling the exact same way about middle school.

DONT BE WORRIED! its not scary at all.

all you need is a folder for each class, a notebook, maybe some book cover, pencils, and thats really all i needed.

so just be calm, middleschool isnt the worst thing out there. lol.

i liked it better than elementry.

  14. Haha, i was the exact same way girl!! I was like soooooooo excited, then i was like, what if i forget the locker combo? what if i do this? do that? Help!  It is nothing to be scared of. Its fun!!

pencils, paper, binders, (i have to have 3, 1 1 inch, and 2 2 inch. It pretty much depends on what they want you to have.) erasers, pocket folders, or just folders, notebooks, tabs, (get like 10 tabs) pens (red, blue black,) calculator, glue sticks, scissors, and a ruler. umm.. that is pretty much the basics for now.

Good luck, and have an awesome school year!! :D

  15. relax,,,,Middle school is very easy,,,!

  16. Just don't be worried. It will be fine! There's nothing really to be scared about. Just bring the necessary books for your classes and one to read.

Watch out for boys, don't get into anything w***e-ish or too invloved with them, some people can be nasty, but it's no big deal.

You'll be fine. It takes about 4 days to get used to middle school.

  17. Just ignore everyone...be a goth.  Buy all black school materials, and never worry about being popular.

  18. Don't worry about it. Middle school is nothing to be afraid of. You'll just hafta get used to the lockers, class transitioning, and new teachers & friends. Nobody'll bully you just cuz you're new to the school. Some people might make some comments about seeing a "puny little sixth grader", but they won't do much else.

Just get a few folders, some notebooks, pencils/pens, and paper. All of your new teachers will give you a sepcified list on the first day of what they want you to get for their class.

  19. i am scared too!! i think that you should definitly carry a purse. get binders and stuff. also, make sure you have friends! you will always need them.i have older sisters so i kinda know.

  20. wow its middle school seriously nothin to worry about
