Question:

Worried about going back...?

I am doing a CGVE (yr 10 equivalent) program out of school due to sever bullying.

I have missed so much, I've been enrolled for ages and only been 4 times.

I've just had a very stressed time recently and got sick and it was/is just getting a bit much.

I don't know the youth workers who run it very well and don't know whether I should go back or just quit.

And I if you think is should go back how do I explain what's been going on?

CGVE:

It's an Australian thing, it's like a community college equivalent to year 10. Which here is like the minimum to get an okay job generally.

  1. K...first of all, I had to read and re-read this and I think there are aspects you're not sharing, which makes it very hard to give you any advice.  If home is a problem, that's another issue and may be the root cause of your stress toward your education.

I'm not sure about the CGVE thing...since it's Aussie.. but if you're debating on returning to that, what (in your mind) are the pros and cons?  Returning to "normal (is there such a thing) school" is not an option at all?  due to bullying?

As for explaining.... that's your choice.  You can tell them you've been on holiday in Africa chasing elephants across the desert plains.  Bottom line is, it doesn't matter, unless YOU make it matter.  Again, I get the feeling reading between the lines that there's more bothering you here.  I wish I could help more and I do think that listing pros and cons written out will help you "view" your choices must clearer.  Just be honest w/ yourself and don't limit yourself by what you THINK others might do/say.  Good luck dear!!
