Worried about leaving my daughter?

My husband and I have not had a night to ourselves well pretty much since our 6 month old was born. We are going to his hometown this weekend because he is in his cousins wedding and we are going out. His Mom is going to watch our daughter, I completely trust her and know she will do a great job with her, but I am afraid my daughter will be a big handful. She is a good baby but I never leave her NEVER but my husband really needs some attention. I have friends that go out all of the time and they do not have this problem! I know it is not that big of a deal she just does not see my husbands Mom that much and I think she might have separation anxiety or maybe I am the one who will LOL!!! Anyone else feel this way? Any advice I am a first time mom I can always use advice!

  1. hey take it as i have a 3 year old as of this september coming and well as to having a night to me and my husband no we have not left her i am stay at home mom and i believe in it 100 percent and i wish i would have left her a little when she was littler cause now she don't want me to leave her to do anything so take the chance and go out and since it sounds like grandma don't get to see her that often it will be good for them to bond

  2. I know EXACTLY what your going through. I didnt leave my baby alone until he was 6 1/2 months and I cried my eyes out when I did! But trust me, time away from your child is defiantly needed. Just shows how much of a great mommy you are! =]

  3. Of course Grandma should see your baby, but I would never have left my baby while my husband and I went to a wedding - we would have taken him with us!

It was much more important for us to spend time together at home when baby was sleeping, or just with us anyway - it's not like it's quality private time with your husband when you're at a wedding!

    But, enjoy. Your choice.
