  1. The fridge light uses minimal power usage.

Any thing with a heating element i.e. electric heater, emersion tank, toaster, kettle, oven are all high power consumers.

Combustion engines are highly in-efficient, i.e. buses, cars, aeroplanes, walk to town or cycle.

Leave all the lights off in the house for a day

  2. Hand wash your clothes and dry them on line. You will have an extra bonus with a smaller energy bill.

  3. CO2 makes up less than .2% of the gasses in our atmosphere. It still hasn't been proven that CO2 causes any warming. Even the scientist that came up with the origonal CO2 warming idea says today that there is no proof and that they can't find, not any sign that it (CO2) causes any warming.  CO2 levels plotted against warming trends show that it warms first then CO2 increases fallow.  That would mean WARMING causes increased CO2 levels. This is what happens when Politics and science, along with the Media get tied togeather.  =  BAD SCIENCE.  The Earth has been warmer in the past and there were no cars, lights (electric) nor jet airplanes.  If farting can destroy the planet, then I guess we should enjoy it now, before it's too hot and smelly.

  4. its unlikely to make even a small difference. dont bother

  5. Yeah. Stick a candle in there instead.

  6. Electricity itself has no carbon footprint only the way it is produced has a footprint.

  7. 1 the bulb will only light up when the door is open, 2 not all sources of electricity are anti-green(you have to take into account where you get your electricity from), 3 brightness isn't an accurate indicator of power usage.

  8. no

  9. Leaving your carbon footprint will show archaeologists in 2000 years from now that you existed.

  10. Don't worry about your little fridge bulb. Come the darker nights and all the floodlit football fields will outshine you !

  11. If you're really so worried about it,here's an idea........................SUICIDE!!!!!...

  12. you can reduce your carbon footprint all you have to do is stop breathin

  13. No, put a padlock on its door, that way only you can get at the beer, so saving energy on its manufacture.
