Worst London restaurant?

Hey all. Had a really bad meal a few weeks ago and just wondering if anyone could give their restaurants to avoid in London town? Been looking at reviews online and am rather enjoying it. Let me know any bad experiences you've had! Thanks.

Kiasu in Bayswater was a terrible experience.  It won the Time Out "Cheap Eats" award so a group of us went for a late dinner... when I say late, I mean 8pm, and I didn't get my meal until 10pm.  We all got our meals at different times, the service was appalling, and when I got my food it was so gristly, I couldn't eat it.  Gross.


  2. Most restaurants in London are terrible! I think the UK has the worst service industry in the EU, nobody cares! How many times have you had a meal slammed down in front of with a "there you go" type comment by some uncaring waiter / waitress, they then usually wander off without asking if there's something you need etc. The problem is, that no-one is trained properly anymore. I'm British btw!

  5. i dunno bit i was in a posh restraunt it was gr8 but then all these pigeons just charged in unortunatly i dont rremember wat the place was called

Where to begin?  London's a big old place you know.  Personally I think Salsa Sushi or Sushi Salsa, whatever it's called, in Camden Town is overpriced and overrated.  The service sucks too.  Never eat in a chain restaurant in London, they're aweful and there's some nasty stories about what the staff do to the food behind the scenes.  

  7. The worst meal I had was at Loop, and judging by these reviews I'm not the only one who had a bad experience!

  8. The mexican on battersea park road - please try not to eat there, for your own good. By all means have a beer, or a cocktail.  The vibe is a bit cheesy but fun, but the food is microwaved botulism - trust my projectile vomit on that.

  9. Chiquitos in staples corner isnt that great.

    Yeah agree withthe other post wont be going to any of BB's Rex's Restaurants
