  1. joe montana haha jk i think ryan he sukz lol

  2. I'd have to say it's possible the worst QB of all time never played.  He pry just sat on a bench for some team for a year until they just told him he sucks too much for them to ever let him play.

Marcus Vick is pretty close in my estimation...

  3. Jake Plummer in 1999

  4. The thought of Ryan Leaf still haunts people to this day ... and he would make a considerable candidate for worst QB ever.

He is getting stiff competition from Matt Leinart at this point.  However, let us also consider Eric Crouch (QB made into WR, came back to QB for another team ... and never played a down in an official game) and Tim Couch (another superb #1 overall draft pick)

Let us allow these names to send more shivers up and down our spines, realizing how horrible these guys were.

As for the worst, there is one that would give Leaf another meltdown in front of this esteemed panel of gridiron horror ... Dan McGwire.  Before the aforementioned hit the field, this man was slated as the prototype and future of QBs (like another QB, but at least dogs were not involved in Dan's future).  Dan also has the stats to show how unimpressive he was (2 TDs to 6 INTs in 5 SEASONS; 745 hard-fought yards total).  My God, with stats like these, I think there are a couple running backs who have better stats than that.

Sorry Leaf, but McGwire owns the worst QB of all time title ... I would think Ryan would be thrilled about losing this one, but then again who knows?

  5. As a Dolphin fan my vote goes for A.J. Feeley.  The Phins gave up a 2nd round pick for this guy and he sucked.

Overall, there has been many BAD QB's in the league, but the most high profile are:

    Ryan Leaf

    Rick Mirer

    Todd Marinovich

  6. Ryan Leaf.

  7. Yeah, I agree with many of the losers on here...

    Favre, Leaf, and Tim Couch.

  8. I have to agree with 808 on this one, I'd rather have Ryan Leaf as my designated QB then any of the saps on Y!A.

But if we're talking about the pros, I'd have to say Andre Ware. He was capable of putting up numbers in college, but it was in Houston's funky run and shoot offense. In the pros, he could not adapt to pro style offenses or the complex defenses threw at him. He tried his craft in the CFL and in Berlin for NFL Euro. He didn't pan out on 3 major levels of pro football.

Lucky for Ware, he's articulate enough to do sports radio and moonlight as an ESPN analyst.

  9. My 4 year old.  He tries to throw it at me and ends up hitting the tree 20 feet to my right. and he's only 20 feet away.   I think he can get better.

  10. BOY...That's a subjective question. I look at it this way...ANYONE who makes it to the Pros is BETTER than anyone out here who talks trash about them.

  11. Howdy Peach! I'm gonna go with Quincy Carter, that guy sucked.

  12. Ryan Leaf- what a jerk and a waste of someone who had some talent but let his ego get in the way .

I got to go with Michael Vick now, he may have been talented but he is s sick scum bag not worthy of the NFL or any other league

  13. Heath Shuler, or possibly the immortal Babe Laufenburg.

  14. its a tie....Ryan "cant handle media and pressure of nfl" and Dante culfluffer. culfluffer was only good in mn cause he had Moss. Randy moss can make any QB look good

  15. Right now it's looking a lot like Matt Leinert challenging Ryan Lief (sp?) for the all time title - when measuring hype versus living up to expectations.  Mr. "Posse" is not showing leadership or toughness.

  16. There is a bad Quarterback Hall of Shame somewhere, I bet these guys are in it.

    Ryan Leaf (Obviously)

    Vince Young

    Mike Pagel

    Marty Domres

Mike Vick (Should have been a HB)

    Tony Banks

and the Donovan McNabb who has shown up the last few seasons. I think he kidnapped the real Donovan and is holding him somewhere.

  17. College he was good but once in the nfl he fell apart, couldn't handle it, I'm speaking of Danny Weulfel, (spelling may be incorrect).

  18. chad pennington

  19. I'd have to say Ryan Leaf. He won one game a year for four seasons, and was a brutal interview every time.

  20. a tie between Tony Banks and Me

  21. me haha

    uhh rhett bomar

  22. Ryan Leaf and Rex Grossman

  23. Ryan Leaf was the biggest bust and worst QB all rolled up into one.

  24. It can't be Ryan Leaf he was amazing in college! Even though he was horrible in the NFL there has to be a person who was horrible in college and the pros lol.

    How about, Tavaris Jackson lol

  25. Tim Couch!

At least Leaf had a few good flashes in his first season/preseason.

But Couch was doomed from the start when he got drafted by the new expansion Browns.

  26. Joey Harrington

  27. Vince Young!!!

  28. alex Smith worst quarterback,he was a first pick over all he got 100 million dollar contract, and what do the 49ers get out of him this year nothing because he is going to be on the bench

  29. It's hard to say; the worst QB probably was cut in spring try-outs.

However, if you mean the worst QB ever to start an NFL game, I would go with the consensus, Ryan Leaf. Attitude counts a lot, and his was the worst, causing his teammates to lose faith in him, and not care about winning or losing.

Gino Toretta, David Klinger, Akili Smith are some of the other blue chippers who never panned-out.

  30. Vick>>>the dog killer. Rembr his Pit Bulls??
