Worst case of pink eye evar...when will it go away?

I woke up Sunday with my eyes stuck together and knew it was pink eye. I have had it before but never this bad. I went to the Dr on Monday and he said that I had Viral Pink Eye along with a sinus infection and double ear infection . I am on Amoxocillin and Vigamox drops and I am not seeing any impovement. I look like someone punched me in both eyes. I am swollen from my eye brows to my cheek bones along with what looks like bruising. I also have a knot in my throat and am miserable...shoud I go back to the Dr? Or just continue meds?

If the condition is viral, then antibiotics such as vigamox won't help.  They may prevent an opportunistic infection, but we generally don't prescribe these for fear of the build-up of resistance.  Most viral eye infections run their course within 7 to 10 days.  Some last a few weeks.  

Some forms of viral infection can be treated with 5% Betadine solution in the doctor's office.  There has been documentation that this shortens the course.  It works best if instituted within the first few days of onset.

Finally, some doctors will prescribe a vasoconstrictor (blood vessel reducer) or a mild steroid (anti-inflammatory) to reduce the symptoms while the virus runs it's course.

Aside from these, frequent instillation of preservative free artificial tears and cool compresses are all I can suggest.

I think it would be a good idea to go back to the doctor, you might need a stronger antibiotic.

Antibiotics are useless in "curing" viral infections.  They are prescribed  a) to prevent seconday infecton and 2) so no one sues the physician.

Actually, your symptoms sound much like those of allergy, especially the problem in your throat.  

Get a second opinion, from an ER if you must.
