  1. When a player receives a red card he is barred from playing in

at least 2 consecutive games involving the given Tournament.

FIFA has the last word on this situation. If they feel that the

player's actions are detrimental to the reputation of the sport

they can and have barred players for Life.

  2. yes, this is really bad. really terrible.

But in Korea/Japan 2002 ... a Korean player kicked an Italian player in the head and resulted heavy bleeding from the head.

  3. That's bad.

But he doesn't belong in jail.

    jeesh.

  4. That happens a lot. Best on I've seen was a guy who played for Southampton called Terry Hurlock. He was loved by the fans as he was basically hard as nails and took no prisoners. In this one game he had to mark a little winger who was pretty skillfull and v quick. After 80 odd minutes of being left for dead by this guy Hurlock had finally had enough (with a fair bit of encouragment from the fans to sort him out=]). Next time the guy tried to get past him he just picked him up by the neck and threw him on the ground. The ref was that shocked he just gave him a yellow card and carried on. The guy never went past him after that. Funny as f***
