In the wake of Brandt Snedeker's performance at the Phoenix Open last week, where he spectaculalrly blew his lead on the last day - was that the worst finish on a tour event in recent history?

It was certainly up there. According to stat-man Sal Johnson, Of the 2,352 players who have led or co-led Tour events going into the final round since 1970, only one has finished worse than Snedeker’s tie for 43rd. That was d**k Rhyan’s closing 77, which dropped him to T-45 at the Shrine-Robinson Golf Classic back in 1973.
