Worth learning Japanese?

Question

I really think the Japanese language is cool, I like watching Japanese Shows, Animes (Subtitled) and play Japanese computer games.

But I don't understand Japanese and I'm considering learning it, The Question is..Is it worth spending time learning Japanese?

Well it depends on what you consider worth your time. If you enjoy learning languages and think it would be cool to know this language, then by all means, learn it!

If you want to be able to communicate with a Japanese business man or something, that's great, but keep in mind most Japanese people already know a decent amount of English. I'm not saying don't learn it because they speak English, but if money is an issue, keep that in mind before you feel like you have to know it.

So it really depends on how much you think you would enjoy it/how beneficial it would be to you.

depends on the person

learning japanese is really hard work. you need lots of years to be fluent.

but if you really want to know japanese, go for it.

i can guarantee you that you can feel inexpressible joy after some years of study.
