Question:

Worth reporting?

In a parking lot with about a dozen cars, there have been 5-6 brake-line failures and two incidents of sudden transmission/ power-steering fluid losses within several months. I didn't really suspect vandalism until my gf and I spotted a man from the area squatting next to a car that wasn't his (at 2:30am)--the next day, the same car sustained a sudden brakeline failure. Since I recognized the guy, I told the owner--she didn't report it. I believe my car has been tampered with, so I have an interest in seeing this guy at least questioned by law enforcement. Three of the victims are from the same family (whose "unstable" mother lives nearby). Worth reporting?

  1. I'd say report it.

I mean, cut break lines might not be as spectacular as it is on TV, but really, someone could get seriously hurt (or worse)

You know who this guy is and there are multiple incidents - you need to turn him in (especially for your own good if he's messed with your car too!) Finally, I have no idea how common it is, but it does seem like people escalate and do more/worse things . . .

Take care of yourself & protect yourself from someone this unsafe!
