  1. This year I just cooked a big roast chicken and some roasted pumpkin, potato, carrots and asparagus! But I'd love to have a sea food Christmas, but it's just so expensive!! Anyways, hope you had a lovely Christmas!... Happy new year!!

  2. we made a baked spiral ham. yummy!

  3. Sit down meal with family at home.

Roast leg of lamb with baked vegetables and home-made gravy.

    Yummo!

  4. My family and I had a nice sit down meal. We had a honey baked ham, cornbread dressing with cranberry sauce, potato salad, green bean casserole, lima beans, pecan pie and cheesecake.

  5. I had my xmas dinner w/ my family. It's really nice to spend it w/ your family.I'm sure you'll really miss them for xmas season if your not w/ them.

  6. A sit down meal with just my family of 5, use the nice dishes and stuff. Prime rib (the most exspensive cut ) baked potatoe, asparagus, corn, biscuits and apple cider. Yummy Im gettting hungry just thinking about it.

  7. On Christmas day we spend it with my husband's family.  About 30 people came over, and every year the menu changes.  This year we had turkey, ham, baked macaroni & cheese,, salad and rolls.  We had appetizers prior to our dinner, and then had a lot of homemade cookies, and pie for dessert.  Some years we have filet migon but this year it seemed like everyone had gotten a turkey or spiral ham from work, so it turned out great.  It really isn't what we have or don't have for dinner, it is the fact that we can all spend time together, and have a great holiday.

I think more people need to focus in on spending time with one another, and not material things (although it is nice to have a great dinner), The people need to focus on people around us, and the little things like time sharing and memories of times spent.

Have a great year, and great holidays this year!
