Seeing as I've never played snooker, and I don't hang with anybody who does, and I LOVE pool, and I'm pretty good at it, I'd have to say...snooker.  JK.  I'd really have to say pool, because there are just so many different ways to play.  Doubles, dutch doubles, 8-ball, 9-ball, cutthroat, TAP rules, BCA rules, bar rules...the list goes on and on.

Snooker is much more difficult and needs more skill. A useless player could beat an excellent player at pool, if the latter inadvertently pots the black out of turn...this could never happen in snooker.

Most people can play pool quite well, it takes a very good player to play snooker well.The best snooker players can compete with the best pool players at pool, they would wipe the table with them at snooker.
