  2. As Stubby said, Panasonic. They are widely recognised as the best in LCD and Plasma.

Search for reviews on the TX32LZD80. I think its the best, but I would spend a wee bit more and get the 37inch version as 32inch doesn't really make the most of high def. This TV also has an excellent SD picture. It isn't 100hz but apparently it uses superior processing to outperform all 100hz models. I haven't read a bad review yet.

Not Sony, their TVs have gone downhill quite a bit. If you are on a budget then Samsung are good as are Sharp. Both will match a Sony but at a cheaper price.

  3. That's very subjective because what is liiked by one person may not be liked by someone else.

The important thing is to see it in the shop tuned to a non HD live channel.

Many shops display their sets running a demo DVD which is designed not to highlight any shortcomings in contrast etc.

Look at tvs in the shop and use that as a guideline.

  4. Sony.

  5. Samsung LE32M87BD 32" HD Ready LCD TV

    100Hz

    8000:1 Contrast ratio

    3 HDMI slots

    1366x768

    £422.97 at http://mattsdealsalert.com/television.as...

If you want the best 32" LCD without 100 Hz as this is a bit cheaper then go for the Samsung LE32R87BDX 32 Inch HD Ready LCD TV at £399.97.

If you don't like either of these then just make sure it's either a Sony, Panasonic or Samsung and get a good contrast ratio.

    Hope that helps!

  6. Panasonic. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

Make sure it's their new models, which have just been released within the last few months.
