Everyone is assuming you mean the motocross version of the Honda and KTM, but they both make a woods version like the WR (CRF 450X, KTM 450 XC-F). If you could could update your question with details on which Honda and KTM 450 you are referring to that would help. Also I wouldn't really call a WR450F a "trail" bike. The TT-R line are trail bikes, the WR-F line are woods racing bikes.

crf450 is better for track racing

wr450f - for trail riding only.

crf450 - very very fast, racing bike.

ktm 450f - very fast, racing.

it's between the honda crf or the ktm. ktm is a little bit more expensive, and handles a little differently.

it depends what you you want it for the wr is for enduro racing and you can also put them o the road. the honda crf450 is a motocross bike and is as good as anything else availible the ktms are normally ok, personally im not overly keen on them but plenty of people are

the wr is for trail riding if you are in to cruising and not jumping or anything you'll like it. the crf would be an all around better bike cause i think you can take it more places. as for the ktm they are really good bikes its just hard/expensive to get oem parts for them.
