  1. any where between 151 and 154 should be ok, for freestyling your going to want a smaller board so go with like a 151 or 152 unless your doing more freeriding. if it helps, i ride a 151, i'm 5'6 and i freesyle and its fine. so even if u choose to go w/154 it should work just fine for freestyle

  2. Close to your chin for freestyle and close to your nose for all mountain.... you have to decide which one you are.  You can't make a wrong decision as the board will work for both, but will be more optimal for one style of riding.

  3. get one between your nose and chin..... good luck it will take awhile to get good.... especially since it is spring already

  4. i am 5'10" 180 lbs. and i do freestyle and all mountain. I ride a 157 cm and it is great. I sometimes wish i had a 154 or 155 for rails, but i have found that if the board is too short and your bindings are set too close to the nose and tail of the board, it is easy to snap the nose or tail while landing. A slightly longer board will have your bindings more in the thick, middle section of the board, making it harder to snap. I would go for a 157 or 158. with a standard or mid-wide board for your shoe size (i think you can go mid-wide with a U.S. size 10, which is about the same as a U.K. 9 . But dont get a wide board, just a mid-wide (because wide is for U.S. 11 + or U.K. 10+).

ps: look for a light board with good flex. just hold up the board with the tail on the ground and kind of shake it to see the flex.

  5. Dont listen to that floor to the chin rule as its only accurate for people of an average weight for there height. You are quite light for your height so that method wont be accurate, a good size for you for an all mountain freeestyle board will be a 153. You should be able to get away with a regular width board with a uk size nine but it depends on the angles you set your bindings at also. Its best when buying a board to take your boots down with you and place them on the board and see if you get much overhang. You dont want much more than 1cm overhang on your toe and heel edge, otherwise you are at risk from toe and heel drag which isnt good. Good luck with the riding.

  6. 152 - 154 will be fine for you.
