  1. I highly doubt it, especially if you plan on spending any time in Greece. A cup of coffee there is about 4 euros...good luck.

  2. It won't matter what you plan to do, you won't last a month. A good rule of thumb when travelling is to calculate at least $100 dollars a day excluding  hotels, hostels or B&B's which are put on your credit card. What I mean is $100 dollars if in the US or Canada, 100 pounds a day in Great Britain, 100 Euros a day in the European commonwealth, etc. Some days you won't spend that much but other days you will, if not more.(And this is not living high on the hog) A vacation should be enjoyed without having to worry about running out of money before it's over.

  3. 400 euros a month?  Try 400 euros a week.  It is very difficult to spend less than 50 euros per day in Western Europe - and that's staying in youth hostels, and eating from street stalls, fast food, cafes, etc. instead of real restaurants, using buses or occasionally trains to get between cities, and never taking taxis.  Even youth hostels are typically 15-25 euros per day.  You will want to pay admission to museums and historic sights, and those will cost you 5-15 euros per day.  If you plan on staying in basic hotels and eating in cheap restaurants, budget 70 euros per day minimum.  Eastern Europe is cheaper, but you should still expect to spend a minimum of 20-30 euros per day.

There is no way you can spend a month in Europe for 400 euros, period.  Even the cheapest countries in Europe, like Ukraine or Romania, will cost more than that.

The train pass generally doesn't pay off.  If you are going to be traveling constantly and not be in any city for more than 2-3 days, then you might want to get one.  Don't get one if you plan on spending a lot of your time in Britain (where the pass isn't valid), Italy (where trains are cheap anyway so there's no problem buying the tickets) or Eastern Europe (also cheap trains).

  4. yeah if you're gonna get food out of bins and sleep on the street no problem :)))

EDIT: yeah i know food is expensive coz we don't sell burgers and shite for 99 cents

  5. The train ticket will probably cost you more than half of that, then figure a minimum of 20€/day for lodging...Why don't you go online, check out the places you think you want to go.  There are websites for everything!

    here's the Youth hostelling one.

    http://www.international-youth-hostels.c...

Then, just pick the cities you want to go to, figure about 10€ per ticket for each monument/museum you want to go to...figure out what kind of eating you plan to do, I lived on bread and water during the day, one snack or meal, and breakfast at the hostel, plus most of the time, I had a little soup and rice for dinner, cooked at the hostel.  Other times I bought a light meal, or got something at a grocery store, or small shop.

The train ticket thing...you can get the all you can use pass, or but individually.  Make sure you know the rules, reservation charges and surcharges for faster trains for each of the legs (they tack those on to the pass charge, and if you haven't paid them, they put you off the train).  Then compare to the individual tickets.  RailEurope.com is a good way to go on that, though there are other sites.

  6. Oh my gosh no.  Europe is so expensive.  When I went to London and Ireland for 2 weeks last summer, I spent way more.  Food is outrageous. I would say you need a minimum of 1000.00 Euro's and that isn't really much either.  It's about $1500.00 US dollars.  Clothes, food, taxi's, theater, tours, gifts, and whatever else you might want to do there is costly.  Hopefully you have a free place to stay.  If not, then 400 Euro will last maybe 2 nights.
