2-1 Marlins.......bases loaded 2 outs 9th innning beltran Grand Slam!!! 5-2 mets........5-3 mets........5-4 mets w/ runnerson 2nd and 3rd---uh oh.........SHUTS THE DOOR AND THE METS WIN!!!

  1. It has to be a TRUE classic for the Mets.I don't think i could say anything else to describe it,but it must feel good to walk-off with a HUGE grand slam!


  2. wow. It was a tight game. a good game and perhaps one of the best endings to a game. The best thing would have been if the Mets were at Shea and the Grand Slam was a walk-off, but it will no doubt go down in Met fan's memories as one of the best games of the season.  

  3. i think it will stick in marlin fans' heads longer than met fans. they had lead in the 9th with two down, and they were down by one in the bottom of the ninth with two guys on

  4. It was a great game, but if they don't make the playoffs it will be all for not.  Hopefully they can build on that momentum and make a good playoff push.

  6. No, it just proves they have the worst bullpen in the history of baseball.  They need to clean house in the offseason and get rid of their entire bullpen.  They've blown way too many games the past few years.
