Would A new motherboard solve my Display and Reboot problems?

I have been having big problems with one of my computers. It would usually freeze up and an error would come up which is the ialmrnt5 display drive error. The computer would also sometimes reboot itself randomly. I have tried all the other ways people have said to have work but none of them worked for me. I have also reformatted many times but that does work.

My mother board is about 3 years old and has an integrated graphics card and i think that maybe my motherboard is breaking down. So i was just think will a NEW motherboard thats EXACTLY the same solve my problems? The mother board that i want to buy is much cheaper than a graphics card.

  1. I'm no computer expert but from the diagnosis you have given it really does sound like it is to do with the integrated graphics and if the computer cannot properly boot up without the graphics then usually it restarts or shuts down.

I'm sure if a dedicated graphics card is installed it should be okay.

    Hope this helps some
