I was told that it would help, as well as eating plain yogurt.. but it is a probiotic, and I thought you were supposed to take antibiotics? Or is that now how that works?

Thanks! :]

  1. drink plenty of cranberry juice it works fine and plenty of water,to flush out your kidneys,,there is some meds in the drug store too to take for the burning till you can get to a doctor..hope you feel better...

  2. Absolutely not.  If you have a bladder infection you need to take antibiotics not yogurt.  This is just nonsense, don't risk your health.  Also, cranberry juice will also do nothing to cure a bladder infection.  Some studies show that cranberry juice might help prevent kidney stones or UTIs.  This doesn't mean that it's a magical health elixir for everything related to urine.

  3. It couldn't hurt...they're good for you.

But I would also try cranberry juice concentrate from a health food store (not cranberry juice cocktail, which usually contains some form of sugar and other fruit juices).  Also helpful, if you're able to locate it is a product called D-mannose.  Just follow the label directions.
