So it looks as though North are testing the waters to see if their few in number supporters will accept a move to the Gold Coast

  5. well it looks like ben cousins has been given a second chance by frementle which is good for kangaroos. They dont need a drug cheat in their club

  6. I'm sure the players would love it. Not sure if it is the best place to live if you  are trying to avoid the whole drug/partying scene but it would have to be one of the best addresses in AUstralia.

    IMO not a big enough fan base.

  7. Financial survival looks like the reason, except what does Carrara hold for seating these days--21,000 and that includes standing room?

    I don't think only 21,000 supporters, who are not all members will help keep North Melbourne going. I don't think Ben Cousins will help add members either.

    The facilities at Arden Street aren't exactly the greatest. In my opinion, Junction Oval and Brunswick Street Oval look like the MCG compared to Arden Street.

    Maybe North needs to merge with Footscray to stay alive, at least in some form. That is, if Footscray doesn't relocate to Darwin for good, just like Hawthorn needs to go to Tasmania for good.

    Nine clubs in Melbourne just ain't going to make it. Geelong will survive.

  10. As much as I'd like to see Ben in a Kangaroo's jersey (mmmm the thought),I would give that up just to keep the Kangaroos in Melbourne.

    I would be devastated at the move.
