im not a fan of glitter eye shadow

which is weird because im very preppy

but sometimes it looks good on people

like if you use a soft coat of eye shadow as the base

and the glitter like the cherry on top

1-2 coats of glitter should be enough

no matter what age

YES. youll look like a sl*t (no offense but only strippers wear eyeglitter) just doin it to protect you. wear a little eyeshadow. but nothing gliterry. you might be able to use the kind that has a hint of glimmer in it but not glitter. glimmer is very subtle and can only be seen in bright sunlight unless looked at close. i wear it to sweet 16s but thats it.

glitter from accessory stores are cheap and they suck

and it will look like your trying to hard.

some girls would notice, most wont care.

especially the boys.

its just sparkles on your eyes.

it doesnt really do anything.

oh my god, you're friggin 11 years old, you're not a 35 year old hooker.

if you MUST wear makeup at such a young age, just stick with mascara and wait a few years to do much else.

when i was in 7th grade i wore glitter on my eyes everyday.

whatever color i wore that day i would wear that color glitter.

i think it looks really good and makes you shine like a star.

if you get a small eyeshadow brush that looks kinda like a paintbrush you can apply it on like a small line and it looks like glittery eyeliner.

you will look adorable.

p.s.

be careful if you use loose glitter it doesn't get into your eyes becasue glitter is small pieces of glass and they can cut your eye.

To be honest, yes, it would look bad.

You're only in 7th grade (and I'm sure you've heard the "you're too young" line numerous times) and wearing makeup in general is pretty borderline. I know glitter is fun and everything, and you can wear it once in a while, but not too much or all the time. It looks very tacky and it's mostly for clubbing and things like that. The only time I would wear glitter is at spirit events for school and stuff.

Also, Claire's glitter isn't very "high quality", you can tell that it's a girl glitter. Although it's probably more expensive, if you were to buy glitter I would go to Sephora's Make Up Forever to get it. It will last longer.

But anyways to the point - if you really want to wear it, I would suggest buying a glitter eyeliner. It's more subtle and not as "BAM" out there.

Please please please do not wear glitter. I am begging you. Just walk away. Shimmer is more appropriate, but even then I wouldn't risk it. Glitter is craft supply. And only cheap nasty girls wear glitter. Trust me you will thank me in 10 years.

if you want to where glitter stuff wear it, if they dont like it tell them to live with it, i love eye glitter i dont wear it cause I (not the people around me) dont think it looks good

I put glitter over my eyeshadow and looks pretty my eyes pop, so use loose glitter pots and just dab a bit....glitter is Fun not whorebagish

Glitter is usually for modeling or clubbing.  If you go to anything like a concert, you could wear it there, too.  But if you wear it somewhere casual like school, people might think you're show-offy.  If you want to wear something BOLD that people WILL NOTICE, I'd advise you to wear HIP (High Intensity Pigment) eyeshadow!  I always wear the orange shade, and even though it sounds strange, I get compliments all the time!  

Its all about what you want, though.  YOUR opinion!  But try not to be too over-the-top!!!!
