I know that I'm not the only one who has felt this way but I felt like all my life I was created to do something great. I have a passion for music and have really deep thoughts and situations that has happended in my life and I would love to express them through music but there is always something that stops me from completing my passion and I feel like that no matter how hard I try I will always fail because I was born too. Why would God allow me to have a passion but yet always stops me from completing the passion? Its like im in a desert and dying of thirst, the water is in front of me but im tied to tree with a leash around my neck.

  1. I feel the same as you do from time to time.  My passion is art and design.  I am a senior in college going for a BFA with a concentration in graphic design.  I have felt like God has given me this skill and passion to do it but I don't know He wants me to do with it.  I am just trusting in him that he will reveal to me his plans for my future.  Maybe he is just waiting for us to put all of our faith in him before he reveals his plans to us.  Though God all things are possible and the Bible states that if we have the faith the size of a mustard seed then we can move mountains. Good luck!

  2. Those who believe in god will tell you that man cannot understand the ways of god or why he does what he does. They'll tell you that perhaps what seems wrong to you is actually, somehow, good.

In other words, what happens happens, whether or not there is a god.

Keep pursuing your dreams. Life is not fair, you may or may not succeed. But if you don't keep trying, you will definitely not make it.

  3. Greatness is not part of our being but rather part of our relationship to other beings.  God creates each of us with a variety of gifts with which we achieve greatness, but because greatness is part of our relationship to other beings, He does not give us greatness itself, only the potential to achieve it.  If we fail to achieve greatness, it is not God's fault, nor the fault of others for failing to recognize our greatness (because it is not part of our being); rather, it is our own fault for failing to use God's gifts in a way that others recognize as being great.  So, if you are always prevented from achieving greatness, then you need to consider whether or not you are using your gifts correctly.

  4. There's a lot of luck involved in turning your passion into real success. And, as the old adage goes, the harder you work, the luckier you get.

  5. Believe that you CAN do it. Or maybe its not the right time. If you have a passion for something, its only fair you're able to achieve it (in my opinion).  that reminds my of Million Dollar Baby...

  6. In order for your question to be meaningful you first have to show, prove, or verify that God exists.  Only then can you puzzle on the attributes of God.  Until then your question is simply gibberish.

  7. You're doing spiritual gymnastics when trying to describe why you can't get to your passion.  You need to be more honest with yourself and put down the fluff.  Now, what directly has hindered you from expressing yourself through music?  You need to answer that question honestly.

  8. watch "Amadeus"  its about exactly that.  And if you like music ... you should really enjoy it.  It's about this composer that prays to God to be a great composer and then he meets Mozart and realizes how brilliant Mozart is and hates God because he didn't give him the genius just the ability to recognize Mozart's genius.

  9. pursue it...create your own situations.

  10. And who says that heaven and h**l are not upon this earth?
