  1. Good question I will watch for your answers as hope to go to USA next Feb on holiday.  Glad you asked.

No you don't.  Britain and America have an agreement known as the 'visa waiver scheme'.  This means that unless you're intending to work in America, you can stay there for up to 3 months without a visa.  When you check in at the airport for your flight over there you will be given a green form to fill in.  You fill this in on the plane and then hand it over to the official when you go through immigration upon reaching the US.  This will allow you to enter the US without a visa.

  3. You can fill out a visa waiver form on the plane, so you dont need one.

    Unless you are going for a long period, or have a criminal record, then you wont have to apply for full visa.
