Question:

Would I be able to have my Mom arrested for this?

Sometimes she takes pills and drinks alcohol within an hour before driving. Would I at least get to have her license taken away. My Mom told me she'd call the cops on me for hitting her. If I'm going down, she's going down with me. I warned her.

  1. It depends on what kind of pills and how much she drinks. ... If you really want to get her in trouble, go for it. Call the cops as soon as she leaves the house and tell them that you are worried.

Sounds like y'all have a messed up situation. I hope you get help.

  2. Your mother is a hazard and an accident waiting to happen. You can call the police and tell them she took drugs and drank alcohol an hour ago and now she out on the road. She will be pulled over and given a sobriety test. If she fails, she will be arrested.

  3. Felony domestic violence suspect accuses victim of acts which may or may not be illegal, depending on type and quantity, without any actual proof those acts occured.

Yea, right. You're going down without her sonny boy.

  4. It would depend on the type of pills and on the quantity of alcohol.   As long as she is not intoxicated/impaired, there is no basis for an arrest.  At any rate, the arrest would have to be made WHILE she is impaired.  If you hit her, you can't then tell the officer who is there because of your assault on her that she drove after drinking a week ago.

Grow up and take responsibility for your own actions instead of looking to extract revenge.

  5. if she takes pills and drinks and then gets in the car to drive, once she leaves call the cops and tell them the licence plate number and description of car and tell them your mother took pills and is drunk and now she is driving and you are so worried about her :) They will then pull her over and there u go!!

  6. If she's driving under the influence, then yes, you can get her arrested for a dui/dwi.  Don't hit her.  If they don't have any evidence, they can't take you to juvi.  Bad parenting skills don't give you the right to hit her back.  That's only going to make things worse for you.

  7. I would suggest going to some support group or church counselor before bringing in the law. You both need help I'm feel for you but she could get assault charges on you and s***w your life up. Do you have any uncles or aunts that can help? One thing you could do is call police after she leaves and tell the local police she was drinking and taking drugs. It may save her life before she takes someone else's. Don't physically touch her it doesn't help either party it will cost a lot of money in lawyers and court fee's but it may wake her up! The police must catch her in the act!

  8. Once she leaves like that, call the police and tell them everything they need to track her down and then her license will be taken away and if she drive again without a license then she is likely to go to jail but it might take 3 times to send her to jail.

  9. You can get her to stop without getting yourself in trouble.  Don't hit her, wait until she gets in her car and takes the pills, ect.  When she leaves, call the cops.

  10. I feel bad for you and your mother

  11. I don't think you can just tell the authorities that shes done this in the past.  I think she'd have to be behind the wheel, or about to step into the car, and OBVIOUSLY appear under the influence of the pills or alcohol for there to be any actions taken against her and her driving privileges.
