Would I be able to use Magic Jack?

Can I still use Magic Jack without paying extra for international minutes? I'm an American studying in the UK trying to call home to the US.

yes, that's the way to use the MJ.....as long you have a reliable high-speed Internet connection, its totally free to cal back to the US, but if you wanna call any other countries, then you have to buy credits, just like skype!

Your Magic Jack can call any US or Canada number from anywhere in the world for the $20 yearly fee.  You just need reliable high speed internet.

If you are trying to call a UK number, you will end up paying the Long Distance rates.

If YOU are the one that is overseas, it is YOU who will save big money.  I would not be surprised if the Magic Jack makes more students decide they might be able to afford to study overseas!

This site helps you get started without a problem and links to where you'll find Magic Jack discount coupon codes to save money (anywhere from $2.00 to $6.95 shipping fee). I didn't know there were discount codes when I ordered mine! Note that some have reported you may have to enter a coupon code more than once for it to show up in the online order form. When the Magic Jack works, everyone LOVES it! If installed wrong or it doesn't work, then it's terrible or a scam? Hardly...

Most people are probably in too much of a hurry to install Magic Jack because they are anxious to see if works for them or not (I know I was!).  Like me, you might regret the choices you made quickly later.  It's wise to TAKE YOUR TIME, especially if your own city or area code is NOT available (yet).  For example, you might want to choose an area code and local exchange where a relative lives, so they can Call YOU for FREE too!  I should've done that, but rushed too much.  This might be the best Magic Jack tip you'll EVER find - anywhere!
