  1. You need a  ticket out of the country not necessary round trip and unlike some of the answers here the airlines will enforce it.They can be fined $1000 for allowing you on the plane without one. here is the cheap solution. go online and get a ticket from Clark to Macau on tiger airline one way. it will cost about $30 if you buy it far enough in advance.

  2. any tourist traveling to Philippines, need to have a round trip ticket.

but if you are going to work here in the country (with necessary working permit and visa), you can buy a one way ticket.

  3. Theoretically you need to hold a return ticket. Most likely you are not going to be given any trouble if you travel without one, more often than not border officials don't check these kinds of things too closely. But just because other people get lucky there's no guarantee you will.

By the way, this is not a general rule. Some countries officially demand this, some don't. The Philippines do, but they're not too worried about American tourist without return tickets. If you wanna be safe, make sure you have one.

  4. you should buy RT tickets if your not a Filipino citizen,if you dnt want have some problem in the future staying here in the phils. or you check out www.dfa.gov.ph to check what are the limitations phil.have.

  5. If you already have a visa its probably no problem.  However, if you arrive with no visa, the criteria for a 21-day visa stamp on entry is that you have an onward or return ticket within that 21 day period.  Sometimes they ask for it and sometimes they don't.  I wouldn't risk it.  They won't turn you around.  What they will do is make you go and buy a ticket to some place you really have no plan to go like Hong Kong or something....just to gain entry.  It aint worth the hassle.

  6. No, they will detain you at Immigration and send you back to the USA.  The policy is clear.  You must arrive with a round-trip ticket, although the return date can be "open."
