I want something dependable that's good on gas and not too costly to repair. I mean, they are both foreign cars...

  1. Geo Metros are foreign? Last I checked Geo was part of GM.

Nissan Sentras aren't as good on gas as a Metro but they are more reliable as far as I know and they are faster if you care.

The best option would be a Honda Civic. They get better gas mileage and are reliable. The 1992-1995 VX Hatchback can get 48/55 mpg according to the EPA.

  2. Get the Sentra more spacious and not a proclaimed piece of junk tlike the Geo (it has a bad reputation...)

  3. Geo Metro is a part of Chevrolet. <---- AMERICAN. Deeedeededee

I'd choose a Nissan Sentra, just because you wouldn't look as retarded driving down the street. But the Geo's are decent, they break easy though, so I don't know. I'd go with the Sentra.

  4. Actually, the Geo was a joint venture between GM and Suzuki...

According to a certain consumer's research organization that accepts no advertising and doesn't like their name to be used without permission, some good used picks are:

    05 Dodge Neon

    07 Ford Focus

    03 Honda Accord

    04 Honda Civic

06 Hyundai Elantra and Sonata (4 cyl)

    06 Kia Optima

    05-06 Mazda B series

    05 Nissan Altima (4 cyl)

    03 Toyota Celica

In my personal experience, it is pretty expensive to repair Mazdas and Toyotas, but they don't need repairs very often!
