Would I be cut out for doing small modeling gigs or commercials?

People have told me I have potential to do stuff like this and I would like second opinions. I know it is a tricky business because one of my best friends has been an actress since she was 12 and has modeled. I am 5'7

  1. maybe...for small modeling gigs yes...not for big modeling though...your too short...i'm 5'11" and they said i was barely tall enough, but i'm talking to someone in ny and my friend Russell already has an agency...i can get the name and give you another answer maybe but idk...

ps. i think the cutoff for modeling is 5'10

you'd probly be good for commercials though....but i'd have to see you.

  2. You're going to have to post a different picture--I have a feeling that's not a very good representation of you.

  3. my suggestion is to keep your natural, or natural looking at least.  if you're really interested on modeling r acting try this site: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom)

  4. It's hard to say. A pic doesn't tell us anything about your acting ability. Modeling really is a completely different field. From the pic you posted, it looks like you would have a "girl next door" look for commercials. That may be the way to go.

The physical standards for modeling are very stringent, and most people don't qualify
