  1. I wouldn't worry. 20 years ago it was commonplace to see chalk on sidewalks, streets and such but now it could raise a few eyebrows or complaints. A complaint could bring a visit from the police as it has to be investigated as a general rule. Prosecution would be something of a joke however. I wouldn't worry about this. They sell chalk to use specifically on sidewalks, etc. My kids have some. If you were 25 years old and writing something strange on the road, then expect problems.

  2. You could use spray paint in a trailer park and not get in trouble so chalk is a safe bet.

  3. This can technically be classified as graffiti, but I doubt that the park manager would care too much about it (unless an offensive or prohibited message was being written) because chalk can be easily removed.

  4. you should probably ask them..Don;t want to get in trouble

  5. Chalk is for children so probably no trouble.

  6. depends what you are doing like if you are just tagging then yes it would be considered as graffiti, i guess they wouldn't be as angry as it only chalk but it is not a very good idea

  7. if its just chalk i dont see why it would be a problem unless it was harsh language or bad drawings...

  8. It usually depends on state or local laws but chalk is not illegal though cops will likely harass you on government property but if it is just a mobile homes park you should be fine and if the manager has a problem he can try and take it up with the local police and they will probably laugh at him. Chalk comes off quite easily from concrete surfaces and probably most other surfaces. If you are writing gang or terrorist related things that could cause trouble but other than that you should be ok. Though if things go wrong talk with the local ACLU chapter as they might be of help!
