  1. yes you would become a princess, but, also with royalty it depends on what place your husband is in: like Prince Andrew of England's wife became Duchess Sara of York.

  2. Yes. Although, I am not sure about other european royal marriage laws, but according to the British marriage act, you certaintly will indeed be titled and styled as "HRH Princess" apon marriage.

Individuals holding the title of princess are styled Her Royal Highness. Since King George V's Letters Patent of 30 November 1917, the title "Princess" and the use of the style "Royal Highness" has generally been restricted to the following persons:

    - the legitimate daughters of a British Sovereign

    - the legitimate male line granddaughters of a British Sovereign

    - the wife of a British prince

According to this rule, you are legally a princess apon marriage if you marry a prince, whether he is 2nd, 3rd or 4th in line and so on.

In addition, you may hold other royal titles such as Duchess or Countess depending whether if the prince is also a Duke or Count of some sort.

For example, if you marry a prince who is 2nd in line and a "Duke of York" you are "HRH Princess" and "Duchess of York" upon marriage.

  3. You would be a duchess

  4. A woman who marries a Prince of the United Kingdom receives the derivative title of Princess.  If said prince is also a duke, she would use the title of duchess (as did the then-wife of HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York).

Usually, the wife of the Prince of Wales would use her legal title of Princess of Wales (which takes precedence over a crummy duchess).  HRH the Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla), is in fact legally the Princess of Wales even though she refrains from using that title for obvious Diana-related PR reasons.

  5. Depends on what country.  Usually, the UK gives a courtesy title upon marriage to a person in the line of ascension.  But technically speaking, if you marry Prince Harry, yes, you would be a princess.

  6. A woman who marries a male royal automatically takes his title.  Not the same for a man but yes, you would become a princess...all you have to do is get out there and snag one!!!

  7. Since adding the last part, I'd have to say you'd be more like the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and have to remove to France or the south of Spain or somewhere tropical, friendly and inviting.

Obviously, by marriage, you would fall short of being inline.  Although, I believe if you married a woman with a title in Spain, her husband would receive that title and it's possible any place to that country's throne.

You main problem is finding a prince. There's more frogs out there than princes and then one that fancies a union.
