If I make an undeducted after tax contribution of $150,000 and receive Govt Co-contribution of $1500, would the $1500 be counted towards the NCC limit of $150,000 and thus I am deemed to have contributed $151,500, thus exceeding the limit of $150,000?

  1. If you can afford to contribute $150,000 towards your super then you can afford to, and would want to, seek a professional opinion.

  2. The govt co-contribution does not count towards your limit of $150,000.

If you check the ATO website it will tell you this, which is  a much more reliable method of obtaining information than asking questions of this nature on a site like this.
