Would I get paid more with a B.S. in Biochemistry or a B.S. in Biology? ?

I'm in college right now and I absolutely love both. But, I was wondering which would make more. I do plan to further my education... masters or maybe even Medical School when I'm reading...But until then I know I can work in a lab with either of these but which one would most likely earn a higher salary....?

And I'm thinking about getting a minor or a certificate ... any recommendations?

  1. at the moment you would get more if you major in biology. A good minor that compliments biology could be anything. Minors are for your own knowledge.

  2. Neither, a BS in a biochemistry or biology means little in terms of salary. With a certificate to work in a medical diagnostic lab then you can make more (not much more), but neither requires biochemistry or biology specifically.
