  1. No, because passport number serves as control number similar to peso bills' serial number.  Both are printed at Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas Security Plant Complex.  DFA will just record the new number along with other pertinent info in your file with them.

  3. I have renewed my passport last  year.. My old and new passport number were no longer  the same. So, there,  if you renew your passport, you will get a new number.


  4. Your passport number will be changed. My mother's renewed passport number is different from her expired passport.
