Would I have a good chance at Permanent Residency in Canada?

1) I am a male in the my mid-20s

2) I have a BA in Accounting, certified licensure in public accounting (CPA), and some actuarial exams completed.

3) I have a steady job (I don't want to reveal where I work on Yahoo answers)

4) I am healthy and require minimal health costs.

5) I have distant cousins who live in Toronto and I'm trying to get closer with that part of my family.

6) I enjoy traveling to Canada with my US passport on a very frequent basis and I enjoy Canadian culture and history and the issues that are important to Canadians.

Would this description be good for applying for permanent resident status?

  1. The first two answers are correct.

    The cousins are of no help to your application.

    Take a look at this link to the Ontario Chartered Accountants website. Read the required process to become  recognised in Ontario.

  2. u have to apply to Immigration Canada like everyone else but the CPA is in ur favour,  or if u can get hired by a CDN firm they can pettion for a work visa for you and then apply for perm residency from there
