  1. There are only two examples of the A380 flying and they are used in the orient by Singapore Airlines.  They started flying one of them on a bi-weekly flight to London.

On a flight from Chicago to Switzerland you could end up on a variety of aircraft. 747, 777, 767, A340, A-330.  Twin jet airliners regularly fly from North America to Europe.  (Paris to St. Louis for example on a 767).  It really depends on the airline you're flying,  the route (stops), and seasonal passenger traffic.  You can probably find out what aircraft type you'll be flying on by going to the web site of the airline.

  2. Depends on the airlines fleet of aircraft / availability

  3. 747 there a waiting list for a380 and there is only 1 so toooo bad

  4. No, you would not. Most of these flights are in B-767 aircraft, or in the smaller Airbus 330s. To fly an A380 now, fly between Singapore and Sydney.

If  you want a way to look at who is flying what and where, go to World Airline Guide's website shown below, and click on the "Free Trial" button. You can look to your heart's content for a limited time. This is much faster than looking at all of the different airline websites.

Most of the B-747 are flying between high-density long-range markets, as these are what the aircraft was designed for.

To fly one B-747 route that I know about, check United between Ohare and Hong Kong, flight 895.
