I am currently in college and was thinking about going in the summer, but I don't have anybody to go with. Would it be lame if I went by myself? What could you do by yourself there as a tourist? I have always wanted to go and figured, why not this summer? Also how much money would it cost if I wanted to stay 1 or 2 weeks? Or should I just wait until I find someone else to go with me?

  1. i spend 10 years of my life counting the stones in wales.

i think that's a question you really have to ask yourself

  2. im irish and i went travelling abroad by myself , cos i got fed up of waiting for other people to get their sh*t together to come with me. It was great...if you stay in a hostel you'll likely meet people. Go onto the thorntree forum on the lonely planet website, and im sure therell be someone there who went to ireland on their own and will tell you what it was like. But i think youll be fine, irish are friendly, other people in the hostels will be friendly as theyre travellers too..and youll prob meet others on their own too...i did.

  3. Would you have fun going anywhere by yourself. The ireland part is irrelevant. If yes then it matters not where you go or who is with you.
