Would I look better if I stopped looking like an emo? -Pic-

Its what everyone tells me.

And I dont know, I'm getting tired of people telling me I look like an emo dude, or that I would look alot better if I had my hair out of my eyes and wore clothes from places like Hollister or Aeropostale.

I don't see why. The only good feature I have is my eyes anyway >.>

So would I look better if I wore, idunno lip gloss, and had my hair up and all that stuff? Pretty much,...

Personally, I think you look fine. I can tell you're a girl & your hair looks decent.  If you don't feel happy with the style you have now, you don't have to go from one extreme to the other. You could try a 'girly' emo look with bows & v necks.

You are pretty and are just hiding it when you style like this. You dont have to be considered preppy if you color your hair different or wear it up! If you wear lip gloss that doesnt make you preppy either. Preppy is  for goody to shoes, you need to just go for the cute look. You can still do dark makeup but just add some different colors into your style like pink, you could even go hot pink, i have that color eyeshadow and its awesome, some browns. Your hair, go for like a bob with texturizing and add some backcombing and do side bangs. You are cute just need a new look try that. Hope this helped. Good luck!

i think you look good already, im not into "emo" style but i like your hair, it suits you. maybe brighten up your wardrobe a bit with more fashionable items but dont completely change your image cause people are saying to you that you would look better if you dressed like them

yes, you would. the emo look kind of looks  like dead people. you'd be much prettier looking alive and healthy if you ask me :)

just stop wearing the dark eye liner, and switch to a more natural look, you don't nessesarely   have to look preppy to look better, just experiment and see what looks best!

I think the most attractive someone can be is when they are secure with themselves. If you are happy with the way you look, tell people to bug off when they pick on you. They can express themselves any way they want to, and you choose to express yourself through your clothing choice.

If you think you would feel as comfortable dressing preppy, then by all means try it out. Just do what you feel comfortable with. Good luck!

you are very pretty, you dont have to be preppy to make people think you are pretty, wear clothes and make up that make you happy, you are already gorgouse so you will look good in whatever you wear

You just need to ask yourself what you WANT to look like? Does it make you happy or do you like "you" when you look in the mirror? If so, f*** the people who "expect" you to look some other way.

Makeup is easily changed and so are (temporary) hair styles. Experiment. See if you like a different look, or maybe be different every week - surprise people.

Most of all, don't let what others think dictate how you feel about yourself. To thine own self be true.

They can still be black/dark, just a little more fitted and.. interesting?

I like your eyes, I'd suggest something to do with your hair, but I'm rubbish with hair ideas.

And maybe be a little more daring with the make-up. But subtler.. Sort of. Basically, try some colour, but be careful not to look like a drag-queen =]

Meh, not at all keen on the whole preppy beach-bum barbie thing myself... People should look like themselves, and you'd look weird dressed like that. But it doesn't mean you can't look pretty.

Preppy is horribly overdone, but then so is emo. Try and be a little different? But be whatever you want. If you want to change then change,but i wouldn't go all preppy.

you can keep your hair the same way but just start looking in hollister or something and if you like some of the clothes then buy them, and if you dont, then stay the same.

you might just find that you want to be preppy or maybe you want to stay the same.

its your choice and dont let those people call you posers because they are just jealous.

My personal preference, emos are depressing and if you don't want that reputation i suggest you change. Drop the makeup, less is more. Take the hair out of your eyes.

i think maybe you could try a different look...

dye your hair lighter

go a bit easier on the black eye-makeup- maybe try brown eye makeup instead. and use bronze natural eyeshadows and a light blush with tinted lipbalm. cos you've got a pretty face and i think with a bit of a make over you'd look gorgeous.

and then i guess if you decided you didn't like the new look you could always go back.

but personally i think you should go for a bit of a 'de-emo' make-over hehe.
