People buy money orders all the time.  Sometimes they are better than using your personal check, because they do not have your account number on them.

You look pretty weird in your picture (but cute!) would you look weird if you went to the post office to buy a 1 cent stamp?  The Post office cannot (underline that) discriminate on the basis of how you look. . .
