Would I need two curtain rods for the black out curtain and the sheers?

I am hanging curtains for the first time. LOL. I am not sure what I am doing. I bought black out curtains and some white sheer curtains to go beneath the black out ones. I assume that I would need two rods. Would I hang the one for the sheers just a little below the one for the black out curtains?

Forget blackout curtains. Go to http://blackoutez.com. They make a window cover for night shift workers that totally darkens the room. No rods, no hooks, and no light. I use them and they work really well.

They have double hanging rods for such a situation as this; that would make it a bit easier than drilling four places and save yourself extra hassle.
