Would IHOP or American Eagle hire me?

Question

I'm 16, so it's hard to find someone who would hire me. I'm good with handling people, so I guess being a waitress would be good, but would IHOP hire me? I know a few people who are waitresses at my age, but not at IHOP.

Also, what about stores like American Eagle or Hollister? Or even Barnes and Noble? My friend was seventeen when she worked at B&N, so would they hire a 16 year old?

I know American Eagle and Hollister will hire 16 yr olds.

I am not so sure about barnes and noble. When I went up there to ask, they said I had to be 18.

And I'm pretty sure you can be 16 working at IHOP. They don't serve alcohol, sooo.

The best thing would be to go up there, and ask.

Look nice and write neatly on your application as that always leaves a GREAT impression.
